Kitchen concert
Matt came down from Port Townsend on Thursday to play a show with David Jacobs-Stain. After an intense and very productive day at the office, we met up at our place. Laura mentioned how his visit always seems to put me in a good. Its true, but I did not realize it until she said it.
I started him on chopping the vegetables while David tuned his guitars. Pretty soon, though, Matt was distracted. I finished the vegetables, but I did not mind in the least. The kitchen concert was worth it. They harmonize well, between talking music and finer points about how long to carry the notes.
I served the two musicians a stir fry with fresh shitake, kale, turnips, and tempeh. They sang some more, and then headed out to the show.
