Puerto and points south

A steady rain and temps in the 40s mean plenty of fresh snow in the mountains. I don’t know why I care, because in two days I will be packing my bags for the annual Guerrero Pilgrimage to Mexico. This year, we call Puerto Escondido home for the week between Christmas and New Years.

Cara Smiley called today from Oaxaca and I quizzed her about the various beach towns south of Puerto. She mentioned towns like Mazunte, Agustillino, and Zipolite, describing them as cool, small, and mellow. More towards the adventure tourism than the resort tourism of Huatulco.

Mom is flying into Huatulco this year and driving or busing up the coast to Puerto, so I will have to get the report on that town from her.

In OMRI-landia, we passed our USDA/ISO-65 audit today and are now ready to move on from that nightmare.
